Mini 4WD Special Edition Products
Hurricane Sonic is Retsu Seiba’s third car in the legendary Mini 4WD cartoon series “Bakuso Kyodai Let’s & Go!!” and now it gets a special release in the shape of this assembly kit with a lightweight polycarbonate body. Separate parts are used for the front wing/air intake, and metallic stickers are included. The AR chassis is molded in white polycarbonate-ABS, and yellow spiral spoke wheels are paired with super hard low-profile tires.
AR Chassis
The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are vital ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. Its aerodynamic form smoothly allows air to pass through the chassis interior as the machine runs, cooling the batteries and motor and extending their effectiveness. The underpanel and diffuser can be removed from the model without taking off the body, while a low-friction rear skid bar is fitted to slash time loss experienced on tricky slope sections, and keep the racer on the track where it belongs. Features a 3.5:1 gear ratio.

The first generation Ford Bronco was relatively compact and extremely capable off-road, and this 4WD car joined numerous races. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Baja Bronco, which was sold from 1971 to 1975 to commemorate victory in a major desert race. Its polycarbonate body captures the 1973 Bronco form in style, with a black sticker to use on the engine hood, and plated parts for the front grille, light covers and side mirrors. It can be paired with separately sold LEDs to light up the front and rear.
CC-02 Chassis - Off Road, Evolved
Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with plated five-spoke wheels and grippy block pattern tires, and is setup for the 242mm S wheelbase.

The NSX - a midship engine sports car released in 1990 – achieved success in races all over the world and also took part in Japanese GT car races from 1996. The 1998 version employed a 3.5-liter V6 engine, and featured improved aerodynamics, low center of gravity, improved brake system and easier maintenance. Four cars were raced that year and achieved five victories.
The TT-02 is a highly balanced chassis offering shaft-driven 4WD along with 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and coil-sprung dampers, as well as common suspension arm and upright components for an easier assembly process.

The Citroën front-wheel drive saloon car DS was honored with third place in the 1999 Car of the Century awards. In 1955, the Citroën DS was announced in Paris and it was sometimes dubbed the “spaceship’’ for its aerodynamic design. In addition, it featured hydraulically controlled mechanisms such as suspension, gearbox, clutch, steering and brakes. Around 1.45 million units including variants were produced between 1955 and 1975.
This R/C model assembly kit is based upon the MB-01 chassis. The MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbase, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.

This compact shaft-driven 4WD chassis assembly kit features a front midship motor and transmits power from the spur gear in the center via front and rear propeller shafts. A longitudinal upright battery pack is positioned in the left side, contributing to optimum balance. Changing the rear section allows a choice from three wheelbases. The 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension has aluminum-cylinder oil dampers. Front caster angle is 5 degrees, and hub carriers and uprights allow two types of ground clearance, while the front bumper skid angle reduces surface contact.
