【 Drive in the Desert 】 Continually harassing German forces behind enemy lines during WWII throughout North Africa were British and New Zealand Special Forces called the L.R.D.G. These men belonging to the L.R.D.G. would travel vast distances under the hot African desert sun in their Command Car and could be seen towing a captured Italian Breda 20mm AA gun just like this set depicts. The features of the command car such as tough body and suspension have been richly reproduced. In addition to the detailed cockpit, the open top rear cabin which is equipped with radio and Lewis gun also has a rich finish. Furthermore, the set includes accessories such as an anti-tank rifle, wooden boxes, and sleeping bags. The AA gun is reproduced in towed status and has two different sight parts. Creating a WWII North African diorama with other 1/35 scale British, German, and Italian models would definitely be enjoyable to display.
