【Nissan's Head-Turning Le Mans 1997 Entry 】 The Nissan R390 GT1 entered the 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours Race with every hope of taking the victory, a goal which was sadly put paid to by gearbox problems in the race. The car's impressive specs included a 600hp 3.5-liter twin turbo engine, front and rear pushrod suspension, and a carbon composite-manufactured monococque. This 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit reproduces the R390's shape in a polycarbonate body featuring the car's characteristic small overhang, low and wide aerodynamic form. Number and sponsor stickers, window marking seals, and silver mesh wheels fitted with slick tires replicate the car's authentic appearance.
【Evolved Chassis 】 The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4 wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce excellent operating ability.
