【 About the SU-122 】 The SU-122 was the first authentic self-propelled gun developed by the Russian army during WWII. It used the T34 chassis and was fitted with a simple fixed compartment with a 122mm howitzer. It featured an impressive offensive ability and great maneuverability and performaned superbly on the battlefield. It became a foundation of which later Russian tanks such as the SU-85 and SU-100 were built upon.
