It benefited from a highly efficient aerodynamics package, unique front and rear suspension and a powerful Ford DFV engine. The following season, it delivered on its massive potential, piloted to victory in the opening race in Argentina by Denny Hulme, and securing wins in Brazil, Belgium and Canada en route to making a World Champion of Emerson Fittipaldi. The icing on the cake of a dream 1974 season was the maiden Constructor's Championship for the team.
