【 About the Tiger I 】 Fitted with an extremely thick 100mm heavy armor and a powerful 88mm gun, the German Tiger I had became known as an unbeatable tank and intimidated Allied officers. The Eastern and North African Fronts had seen the early type Tiger at the end of 1942, and the tank featured an oval-shape commander’s cupola, smoke dischargers, and air cleaners at rear, providing a stately appearance. Approximately 200 vehicles were produced until June 1943 and were mainly deployed to the Heavy Tank Battalion.
