LRP have introduced their all-new ZZ.21C Davide Ongaro Edition 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. The power plant was developed in cooperation with Team Associated’s Davide Ongaro and it was used by the young Italian talent to win last week’s IFMAR 1:8 Nitro Off-road World Championships in Perth, Western Australia. The O.S. based engine was developed to deliver smooth power supply in the lower RPM range combined with exceptional mileage and great overall power, resulting in LRP’s unique crankshaft design and porting. The 14mm precision-balanced crankshaft is DLC-coated for wear and sports a silicone insert for optimised mixture flow. A rear ceramic ball bearing ensures a lower overall weight and also higher peak RPM. Other features include a long stroke design for best possible power and torque, a LCG engine head and specially designed carburettor needles for improved throttle response and mileage.
