A special place in the long and storied history of the Porsche 911 is occupied by the 911 GT3, high performance cars with naturally-aspirated engines suited to racing. Announced in 2021, the Porsche 911 GT3 (992) employs a 4.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine capable of 510hp. Superior downforce is provided by the rear wing with swan-neck connection and a rear diffuser, and other highlights are a front apron with optimized cooling, and a lightweight carbon fiber hood with air outlets, plus Porsche's 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
