Exotek Racing introduce new option parts for the Team Durango DEX210 in the form of rear RR suspension mounts for mid motor converted DEX210 buggies and DEST210 trucks. The parts are made from 7075 aluminium, at 6g slightly heavier than the stock parts and their design does away with the normal spacers and shims used in this section. Available is a 0 degree part to maintain stock geometry and a +.5 degree hanger that adds 0.5 degree of rear toe-in for added stability and rear grip. The parts come gold anodised and with laser-etched markings.

Available now from Team Durango are aluminium and steel Mod1 and 48dp pinion gears of various sizes. The Mod1 gears are made for the use with 1/8th vehicles and come in sizes of 18 to 25 teeth while the 48dp pinions are available from 15 to 30 teeth. Made from high-grade aluminium or steel they come laser-etched for easy identification and are currently a ‘limited edition’ item.

New from Hobbywing come the updated Xerun 120A V3.1 and 90A V2.1 controllers. Starting with the 120A variant, the updated version of the V3 now features an aluminium lower case for better heat dissipation, an updated heatsink design for better airflow and cooling as well as silicone-sealed sensor and fan connectors for dust protection. The V3.1 also comes with updated firmware that sports different neutral range and turbo timing settings. Also new is the Xerun 90A V2.1, the follow-up model of the 60A controller. The controller comes with a different hardware for higher performance, a 5.5T motor limit and 360A burst current rating. Both ESCs are available from February.

Team Durango introduce vented slipper plates for their 210 series buggies and trucks. They are made from high-quality aluminium and feature venting holes to dissipate heat better and to make for fading-free operation even with high-power motors or when an excessive amount of slip is generated. The plates come in sets of two and fit both the DEX210 buggy and DEST210 truck.

Pro-Line have released their Bulldog body for the Kyosho RB6. This body has been designed specifically to fit the Kyosho buggy chassis yet still provides the unmatched performance characteristics that define Pro-Line’s BullDog body line. Great care was taken in refining the BullDog design for 2012 to create even more stability with enhanced steering to gain an advantage on the track. The windshield is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels and the roof ridges have been raised to channel the air flow over the middle of the body for increased high-speed stability. The roof has been lowered in the rear and fins have been added to achieve stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

Pro-Line knows tires and understands that the strongest bond possible between the tire and wheel is a critical aspect of performance and tire longevity and so has developed Pro-Bond Tire Glue. The first challenge was developing the strongest glue possible while also having the correct flow characteristics and dry time that RC Racers and Bashers desire. This Glue has a hold strength of 3,200 PSI which is the highest strength of any tire glue available and their unique glue formula also provides the fastest drying glue possible while drying crystal clear with no yellowing or whitening found when gluing tires with other glues. A super soft and squeezable round bottle while the applicator tips are re-usable unlike the throw-away tubes and have the perfect size applicator hole for gluing tires.
