Coming from World Champion Products is the VS Racing VSR03-EV2 3.5cc nitro on-road engine. Based on the O.S. Speed R2103 the super-long stroke engine is developed for high-class competition use and it features a 7-port design, CNC-machined piston and a 14mm “Rody” modified and DLC-coated crankshaft. New to the EV2 variant are optimised modifications to the crankshaft as well as a new combustion camber insert with a silicone O-ring that ensures a cleaner area between the cooling head and the crankcase. The engine is available separately or as combo set including VS2098 or VS2069 exhausts.

Kyosho have revealed first images and information on their forthcoming new MP10T 1/8th scale nitro truggy kit that will hit stores by the end of August. The main chassis is a 3mm 7075 aluminium plate with hard anodising and improved flex characteristics. Engine/fuel tank, servos, RX box and battery box have move forward for optimal weight balance. Serpent have announced the release of their all-new S120 Pro 1/12th scale competition pan car chassis kit. Building on the proven design features of the F110 SF4 formula car, the S120 Pro makes use of the “link-less” design introduced with the SF4, meaning the designers have junked the usual side links in favour of a bearing-supported linear guide system that allows to brake harder and accelerate earlier while offering greater stability and consistency when braking/accelerating and steering input overlap as the rear pod movement is independent from chassis roll.

Performa Racing have introduced their new P1 HMX 10 brushless speed controller for 1/10th scale vehicles. To allow for simpler, more user-oriented tuning, the controller features four different pre-defined settings based on the track condition, doing away with the need to carry a programming box or computer. The four settings have been tuned by Performa Racing’s engineering team together with their World Champion drivers to deliver maximum performance and simplicity. Coming from Muchmore is their new Hybrid Touch AC/DC balance charger and discharger. The device features several updates compared to the previous unit such as an enhanced cell voltage balancing system and an improved durability internal power supply. Also new is the improved and orange back-lit touch screen for better visibility as well as the anti-static feature circuit board design. Other features include dual IC-controlled cooling fans, 10-memory slots for storing different charger settings, as well as a 5V/2.1A USB port.

Avid have added an orange colour charge lead cable to their already extensive line up of balance charging wires. It includes gold-plated 4mm to 5mm bullets on the battery end to cover all battery types and 4mm bullets on the charging end. The balance cable is equipped with the popular XH 3-pin balance plug, but also included is an XH 7-pin housing for the direct use with most chargers. The balance leads of the 610mm cable are 63.5mm longer than the charge leads so they can easily be plugged into any charger design.
