Serpent have announced the release of their all-new S120 Pro 1/12th scale competition pan car chassis kit. Building on the proven design features of the F110 SF4 formula car, the S120 Pro makes use of the “link-less” design introduced with the SF4, meaning the designers have junked the usual side links in favour of a bearing-supported linear guide system that allows to brake harder and accelerate earlier while offering greater stability and consistency when braking/accelerating and steering input overlap as the rear pod movement is independent from chassis roll.

Performa Racing have introduced their new P1 HMX 10 brushless speed controller for 1/10th scale vehicles. To allow for simpler, more user-oriented tuning, the controller features four different pre-defined settings based on the track condition, doing away with the need to carry a programming box or computer. The four settings have been tuned by Performa Racing’s engineering team together with their World Champion drivers to deliver maximum performance and simplicity. Coming from Muchmore is their new Hybrid Touch AC/DC balance charger and discharger. The device features several updates compared to the previous unit such as an enhanced cell voltage balancing system and an improved durability internal power supply. Also new is the improved and orange back-lit touch screen for better visibility as well as the anti-static feature circuit board design. Other features include dual IC-controlled cooling fans, 10-memory slots for storing different charger settings, as well as a 5V/2.1A USB port.

Avid have added an orange colour charge lead cable to their already extensive line up of balance charging wires. It includes gold-plated 4mm to 5mm bullets on the battery end to cover all battery types and 4mm bullets on the charging end. The balance cable is equipped with the popular XH 3-pin balance plug, but also included is an XH 7-pin housing for the direct use with most chargers. The balance leads of the 610mm cable are 63.5mm longer than the charge leads so they can easily be plugged into any charger design.

Reds Racing have released a storage bag for engines, pipes, electronics, motors and spare parts. A padded internal section ensures protection for precious goods with a zipped front pocket makes storage and transportation of small parts easy and convenient. The black and grey bag features a Reds Racing logo for brand awareness.

Coming from Dash is the AI Pro V2 brushless speed controller. Based on the previous model the V2 variant features state-of-the-art 32 bit micro-controlling and a robust software with the signature black and golden all-aluminium case improving heat dissipation. Coming soon from Tamiya is the new Citroen 2CV Rally kit based on the 239mm wheelbase M-05Ra chassis. The Ra rally M-class chassis is front-wheel driven, it features 5mm more ground clearance and rolls on rally tread tyres with scale wheels. The replica 2CV body is equipped with fog lights, a front bumper, side mirrors and a roof top mounted sand ladder for scale looks. A detailed sticker sheet with additional details such as windscreen wipers and window frames round out the kit that will hit stores in August.

Performa Racing have announced the release of their new P1 Radical 540 Qualified stock motors. The motors build on the standard Performa Radical Stock motors that were designed to deliver improved throttle response, higher efficiency, and more speed with the Qualified series variants being custom-built and hand-assembled as well as fully dyno-tested for improved performance. Other features include selected and shimmed rotors as well as adjusted sensor boards. Each motor include individual dyno print outs as quality insurance and the Qualified series is available from 10.5T to 21.5T variants.
