Serpent have released their new 966 Team Edition, which includes all the individual parts released for the car since they made their debut at the World Championships in Miami back in April. It includes the new rear upper suspension-set, which uses a ball-link system in place of a wishbone, combined with a new carbon camber bracket improving rear end grip. Also included is the new SL8 2-speed gearbox with very low inertia and 8mm shaft, aluminium side-pulley, new brake disk and 3-pin adapter system. A carbon fibre extension set for the lower rear shock absorber mount moves the lower shock mount more outside and needs a longer lower ball-joint. New front upper suspension moves the pivot-point of the upper arm more to the outside, with a very short upper arm creating a better steering feeling and an even easier to control front end. A new split-type carbon fibre radio plate and front carbon stiffener are connected by a rod so when releasing the 2 front screws of the radio plate, the flex is thus controlled. Finally there is the new version sorter aerodynamic design bumper and updated fuel tank with improved cap, spring and seal.

As seen on the Cobra-E prototype being tested by Billy Easton last weekend, Serpent have released the new lower rear wing for use on the entire range of 811 cars, buggy, truggy and e-buggy. Made from a very durable material, the lower type design still has lots of downforce and will be available in black or white.

Vertigo Performance tyres have been in touch to tell us about their all new line of high performance on road foam tires. Made using the highest quality foam from Japan, which is cut with water jet to eliminate pressure or heat during this process, only the centre part of the sheet is used and glued together using a new automated system for consistency. The new foam comes mounted on new ‘Titanium system’ rims which offer the right amount of stiffness and flexibility of the rim for optimum traction. Available in 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm front and rear in multiple shores.

CNC-machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium it runs very true and features a hard coating for long life while the weight reduction holes on the sides also allow heat to dissipate from the belts and debris to fall out.

With Turbo boost and voice buttons, he speaks 15 character phrases, working lights when car is in motion, Rumbling feature with engine revving noises, Francesco Bernoulli character detailing, Handset with steering wheel controller

Francesco Bernoulli
Francesco Bernoulli grew up in the shadow of the famous Monza race course in Italy where he and his friends would sneak onto the track and race the famous Pista di Alta Velocita bank turn. He was an instant winner on the amateur circuit and soon became an international Formula Racer champion. The ladies love Francesco's open wheels, youngsters look up to his winning spirit and fellow racers envy his speed. But Francesco's biggest fan is Francesco himself, as evidenced by his racing number. As the most famous race car in Europe, #1 Francesco is a favorite to win the World Grand Prix, which also makes him Lightning McQueen's chief rival.
- Francesco's last name, Bernoulli, is a reference to Daniel Bernoulli, a Dutch/Swiss mathematician who published ground-breaking theories on fluid dynamics and the conservation of energy. Francesco's pit crew chief is Giuseppe Motorosi.
- On Francesco's side is a logo presenting the letters FR in a design similar to the F1 logo. It is the abreviation of "Formula racer". Francesco's design seems like a typical modern Formula One design. Francesco's tires are Pasta Potenza Rotelli Tires. He is the third Italian character to appear in the film, after Guido and Luigi.
