Futaba introduce the T4PX, the company’s latest top-of-the-foodchain radio system. Offering a completely new design compared to the 4PK series, the transmitter is around 15g lighter than the 4PKS-R with an aluminium frame being part of the body to make for a more rigid structure. The 2.4GHz radio makes use of Futaba’s T-FHSS, S-FHSS and FASST-C2 transmitting systems with the T-FHSS system response being 30 percent faster compared to the 4PKS-R’s. Incorporated into the case is a QVGA 3.5 TFT colour screen that allows to monitor all of the radio’s software features such as the the comprehensive mixing and telemetry functions. For sanctioned races all telemetry functions can be disabled. It is understood that the radio will become available by August.

Spec-R introduce these aluminium rear hubs for Xray’s XB4 line of buggies. The parts are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium and come with a hard-coated finish for durability and looks. The hubs are a direct fit on all XB4 buggies including the 4WD and 2WD variants.

Shepherd now have the C13 bodyshell for 1/8th on-road cars available. Developed in Germany and complying with the latest IFMAR rules, the EFRA-homologated body sports an updated rear section to achieve a significant improvement in overall balance. Compared to its predecessor, the GT-C5, the rear end is longer and the central part around the engine is lowered, resulting in more rear traction. Also the front end saw a minor update creating more steering into the corner. The body is made from 0.75mm thick high-quality polycarbonate and it is available from now on.

Novak introduce a new budget brushless motor and speed controller combo for 4×4 short course trucks. Included is the proven 6.5T 3400kv Ballistic 550 brushless motor and the newly updated Crusher brushless speed controller. The ESC offers 2S to 4S operating range, a 5A BEC system, complete on-board programming, a sealed case, auto-detect LiPo cutoff, and ESC thermal protection. The sensored system is ideal for bashers, club racers and speed fanatics alike.

To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, Japanese manufacturer Sanwa introduce a special edition of the M12 top-of-the-foodchain radio system. Coming in a special piano lacquer design, with an engraved serial number plate and new offset steering wheel, the radio highly differs from the standard M12. It is understood that the set will include a total of three receivers including a RX-471, RX-472 and a RX-471 Dual-ID-Ver. Also included is a transmitter battery pack and a suitable charger.

F.V.S.S. introduce their new Ghost bodyshell stiffeners. Made from carbon fibre rods and steel eyelets, the stiffeners prevent the body from becoming deformed in the event of a crash or under heavy load but still allow a certain amount of flex increasing the steering response of the car. Each set includes 6 body stiffeners and 12 specially designed clips for easy and convenient mounting to the body.

Pro-Line soon have the Electron VTR 2.4″ 1/10th buggy rear tyre available. Coming in PL’s M4 super soft and MC clay compound, the tyre sports a mesh-type tread with supporting dots and a specially designed carcass. The indoor and outdoor clay track tyre fits Pro-Line’s new VTR range of wheels and will become available very soon.

Zeroforce introduce new lightweight setup tools in the form of two setup wheels sets for 1/8th and 1/10th chassis as well as a chassis ride height gauge set. Starting with the wheels, they are made from high-quality and lightweight ABS plastic with the 1/8th wheels sporting diameters of 69mm for the front and 76mm for the rear wheels, while the 1/10th set offers 60.5mm and 63mm diameter wheels. Both sets are black of colour with the size markings etched into the front.

Tekno introduce the new aluminium differential cross pins for the use in the company’s 1/8th scale vehicles as well as the SCT410. The cross pins are lighter than the stock parts and reduce the rotating mass in the differentials by 6.3 grams which results in faster acceleration and improved efficiency. The pins are machined from 7075 aluminium and hard-anodised for best wear characteristics. The pins are sold in packs of six allowing for replacement of all three differentials at the same time.

JConcepts’ popular 1/8th buggy Bar Codes tyres are now also available in super soft green compound. The sticky rubber adds an option for racers needing a little extra edge with traction in the looser and hard packed conditions where the Bar Code tread is advantageous.
