Team Titan introduce the new Blitz ALS-R bodyshell for 190mm electric touring cars. With the level of competitive racing increasing and the wide variety of track conditions faced by touring car racers there has been an increasing need to design shells to suit specific conditions. The ALS-R has been designed with less overall down force for high traction asphalt and carpet tracks, and will help increase top speed and reduce traction rolling, with aggressive steering response to ensure high corner speeds. The specifications meet IFMAR, BRCA and GBS body rules and the body will become available in a standard 0.8mm, lightweight 0.7mm and super lightweight 0.5mm variant. All are made from high-quality polycarbonate and they come clear, including window masks, a decal sheet with two styles of headlights and wing mounting hardware.

Italian company Max Airbrush introduce the Magma V1.0 bodyshell for the Xray XB8 buggy. Made from clear polycarbonate material the body adapts the unique look of the company’s Magma design in order to create a new look for the XB8. Both material and shape ensure a good amount of robustness while a special shape around the engine’s cooling area provided sufficient cooling.

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the B5 lightweight heatsink motorplate for the Team Associated B5 buggy. The part is a direct replacement for the standard motor plate on the B5, B5M and T5M and it sports an updated design with machined cooling fins that reduce the weight and improve cooling without sacrificing rigidity. The closed design keeps dirt out of the pinion and main gear area allowing to run the part in every racing condition. The motorplate is cut from aircraft quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes blue anodised and laser etched to match with the remainder of RDRP’s Team Associated option parts.

Yokomo have released a Factory Kit version of their EOS Rd1 winning B-Max4 III 4wd buggy. Basically the same buggy, it comes supplied with a whole load of option parts in the kit. It will include the titanium turnbuckle set, graphite centre mount plate, titanium coated shock shafts, aluminium shock cap ball, graphite centre link support and 0° aluminium rear hub carrier.

Team Associated have introduced their all new RC10T5M mid motor 1/10th truck. By taking the proven championship-winning RC10T4 platform and applying the technologies used in the B5M, the engineers of Team Associated’s Area 51 created the RC10T5M. Like the B5M, the T5M has an aluminum chassis and mid-motor configuration that are designed to take full advantage of the surface conditions and high traction levels available on today’s tracks.

New from KO Propo is a line of LCD Colour panels for the EX-1 KIY transmitter. Attaching to the top display panel they add a little colour to your radio and come in 3 different versions, blue, red and white and are simple to mount.

CS Electronic have released their new Space X1 charger which was made for use with small to medium sized batteries with a focus on ease of use. By directly plugging the balancer cable into the X1 charger it eliminates the need for the usual charging cable. The battery size and cell number is also selected automatically by the charger, with all the details displayed clearly on the device’s screen. The AC/DC charger can handle up to 4S batteries with a maximum 3A output making it perfect for transmitter and receiver packs as well as small cell car batteries.

Following input from team drivers Eric Dankel and Kyle Branson Capricorn have update the suspension on their electric touring car and will soon release the results, called the TE03. The suspension mounts are no longer mounted to the chassis plate but instead to the differential mount, while still utilising the same bushing system as in its predecessor. The new system uses shims to adjust the front and rear track width, rear toe and the opening of the arms on the front. This new configuration allows the chassis to flex more freely and works with the new floating steering design that can be adjusted for different flex characteristics. Other new items include new upper front tie rod mounts and lower front bumper and bumper plate.
