Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge 2025 (TMAC 2025)

 

Referring to the announcement made by Tamiya, Inc. in their website : https://www.tamiya.com/english/newstopics/2025/singapore_malaysia_tmac.html regarding the qualification race of Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge 2025 (TMAC 2025) for Singapore and Malaysia racers, PT Tamindo Plastic Model / TQ R/C and Hobbies, is planning to conduct the qualification race for the racers from Singapore and Malaysia, with the following venue:


Day / Date : Sunday / 08 June 2025
Place : Mall Mangga Dua Square, 1st floor, Hall A

Registration fee: IDR 300,000 per racer, eligible for 20 run

Please kindly note that the organizer reserve full rights to cancel the event should the organizer deem the race participants to be too small and inefficient to conduct the race. We require minimum attendance of 10 racers from each country.  For example, if there is only 10 racers from country X and 2 racers from country Y, then we will only conduct the qualifications from country X only.

Regulation:

1.  Race system is bracket system 4-2-1

Each Racer will buy 1 card for 20 run for Stage 1
Stage 2, each Racer can only have 4 runs
Stage 3, each Racer can only have 2 runs
Stage 4, each Racer can only have 1 run and after this run car will be quarantined

2.  All parts MUST BE Tamiya original parts. 
3.  Racer can use their own rechargeable batteries
4.  Other regulation we will follow TMAC 2025 Stock Class (attached pdf)
5.  Other regulations if not yet stated or unclear, will be informed during the race and all decision from the organizer is FINAL.

Other things to note:

1.  Please note that all racers should bear their own tickets and accomodation to Jakarta.
2.  Winners from the qualifications for position 1-4 from each country, will only be given entry rights. They shall bear their own tickets and accomodations during TMAC 2025 in Taiwan.

Reedy have introduced a range of optional rotors for their Sonic 540-M3 line of brushless motors. Available are 12.3mm, 12.5mm and 13.0mm modified as well as 12.0mm, 12.2mm and 12.5mm spec rotors that help to fine-tune the characteristics of the motors in terms of peak RPM and available torque. Each rotor is laser-etched with its specification and part number for easy identification and technical inspection. Included is also an assortment of spacers to adjust the rotor’s position within the case.

Tamiya have introduced the Raikiri GT car on the popular entry-level TT-02 chassis. Formerly only available in a 200mm variant on the TG10-Mk.2 FZ nitro chassis the body now also makes an appearance in 190mm specification on Tamiya’s TT-02 4WD shaft-drive chassis and included in the kit are also black colour multi-spoke rims and a comprehensive decal sheet.

Coming soon from Kawada is the M500 WGT-X 200mm pan car kit. Based off of the M500 WGT the “X” offers a range of optional parts such as the SDS front end with additional friction dampers, new and highly precise roll dampers, the FX3 aluminium motor pod side plates and large diameter ball differential plates. The standard features of the M500 include a narrow carbon fibre main chassis with adjustable battery position, O-ring battery retainer, large volume centre shock absorber, and servo mount for both standard and mid-size servos. The WGT-X kit set for a release in late December.

Coming from Absima and made for a range of crawler off-road vehicles is a piggyback shock absorber set. The large volume dampers feature fake oil reservoirs, gun metal anodised aluminium shock bodies and they fit all vehicles that use 105mm long shock absorbers. Included in the 2-piece set are also suitable shock springs.

Pro-Line have introduced the Predator bodyshell for the Team Associated RC8B3E. The same body as it is included with the RC8B3E kit, the Predator takes design features from the Phantom and Type-R bodies to create a whole new look and balanced performance in any condition. The Predator E-Buggy body has clearance for 1/8-sized batteries and several optional air vent holes to keep the buggy’s electronics cool. Included with the clear bodyshell come window masks and a decal sheet.

Pro-Line have introduced the gnarly looking Desert Eagle bodyshell for the use with 1/10th scale short course trucks. Resembling a fire-breathing, road-crushing 1970’s muscle car the body offers details like a supercharged V8 rising out of the hood, zoomie side pipes and twin roof and deck spoilers. The body can be mounted in several ways, one of which is a desert grunge style, a post-apocalyptic war machine like Max Rockatansky’s Ford Falcon in the famous Mad Max movies. This setup is best used with 2.2″/3.0″ front and 2.8″ rear tyres. On the other hand the body allows to create a nice street rod style muscle car when using the appropriate 2.8″ tyres. ProjectRC have introduced their new INS-Box for 1/10th and 1/8th on-road cars. The EFRA approved box features a special airfilter element designed to ProjectRC’s specifications that offers improved airflow, boosting the engine’s performance without affecting engine life. The box, including airfilter, is available in a black or clear variant and the filters are additionally available as convenient 3-piece packs.

New from Intech and made for the ER-14 off-road buggy are aluminium steering knuckles. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium the parts offer improved rigidity and steering response compared to the standard composite items. The black anodised hubs come laser-etched, including separate steering levers and they are a direct replacement for the stock parts.

German company Absima have introduced two sets of tool tips for the use with standard powertools. First up is a set of 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm hex tips with the second set comes with 1.5mm to 2.5mm hex tips and a 3mm Philips screwdriver insert. All are made from high-quality steel and they fit most standard hex adapters.

Italtrading have introduced two new 1/10th rally bodyshells out of their The Rally Legends line of scale rally cars and bodies. Available soon are the Lancia Delta S4 and Evo2 in the Esso Grifone design. The bodies come made from clear polycarbonate and they include comprehensive decal sheets as well as moulded details such as lightbars, windscreen wipers and more. The bodies fit Italtrading’s own line of The Rally Legend cars as well as many other 1/10th scale touring car chassis.
