Coming from LRP is a new 3000mAh transmitter LiPo battery pack for Sanwa and Futaba radios. Measuring 95x29x18mm and weighing in at 98g the battery is specially designed for the use in radio sets, offering a high capacity and a low weight. It comes pre-wired with a black universal plug and an XHR balancer connector and it fits the Sanwa M12, MT-4, MT-S as well as many other transmitters.

German Sanwa distributors LRP have introduced the new ERS-963 high-torque digital servo. With a torque of 20.3kg-cm at a standard 6.0V input the servo is ideal for all 1/8th scale applications such as buggies, truggies and monster trucks. It features an aluminium middle heatsink case, a coreless motor, strong metal gears and its IPX4 makes it ideal even for demanding racing conditions.

Axial have introduced the Yeti Score Trophy Truck in kit form. The purposely engineered desert truck features a solid rear axle and independent front suspension, designed for the roughest of conditions and real dot. Full-size Trophy Trucks inspired the distinct aesthetic and technical elements of this truck, right down to the solid rear axle while the retro inspired body features design queues from a 1960’s era roof-line, classic 1970’s wheel arches and glass shapes from the 1980’s. Giving this kit an extra bit of modern contrast comes in the form of fluorescent orange Method 105 wheels. This kit version will accept standard 1/10th scale brushed and brushless 4-pole systems and most major stick pack batteries. Precision machined aluminium shocks are standard equipment and deliver smooth suspension movement for consistent handling.

Following the S12-1M 1/10th 2WD mid motor buggy, dedicated for high-grip carpet and astro turf racing, SWorkz have now introduced the S12-1R kit with dirt-specific mid motor and gearbox layout. Different from the 1M the 1R features an “upright” gearbox with high layshaft and a motor position close to the differential, a setup that is known to produce more rear traction than the laydown gearbox found on the 1M. Apart from that the dirt specific car features a 3mm aluminium main chassis that allows to run four different battery positions, it utilises aluminium front and carbon fibre rear shock towers, and the kit includes the Pure Oil Shock System, non-bladder shock absorbers. Included with the buggy also comes the Eaglet bodyshell that is meant to provide loads of rear end grip and front downforce.

Available soon from JConcepts is the Ford F-150 bodyshell for Team Associated’s vintage RC10T truck. Back in the early 1990’s stadium truck were the next big thing and the RC10T gained massive popularity that still lives on today. Because of this and the ever rising interest in vintage racing, JConcepts have introduced the officially licensed F-150 body. It is narrow and sits close against the chassis to give racers the Team Truck look popular in the 1990’s. The styling is completely modelled after the most popular full-size truck of that era, the 1993 Ford F-150. The entire body shape has been chiselled, incorporating styling cues from the full-scale truck including wheel well shapes, door lines, window outlines and rear tailgate. The front-end sits just behind the front bumper while the headlight and grille area looks strikingly stock and with included decal sheet, looks like its street truck counterpart. The RC10T body is moulded in a durable gauge material and includes rear spoiler, mounting hardware and decal sheet to completely outfit a vintage ride.

Following the respective modified variants Team Corally have now introduced the Dynospeed 3.0 Spec racing brushless motors. They utilise a machined T6 aluminium can with airflow openings, high-purity copper windings, heavy-duty solder tabs and sintered neodymium magnets. An improved stator design makes for high efficiency and the motors also sport dual sensor ports, adjustable timing and they comply with IFMAR, EFRA, BRCA and ROAR rules. The Spec motors are available in the four stock specific variants of 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T.

VBC Racing have introduced the latest evolution of the Lightning 12 pan car platform, the 12M. The “M” stands for “Middle” and was the main driving force behind the car’s design that features a transverse battery configuration, adjustable floating servo mount, and an adjustable steering bell crank system. In addition to these features the car also sports a newly designed lightweight aluminium rear bulkhead and axle assembly, multiple side spring positions, and a highly tuneable front end. All plastic parts are made from VBC ultra-strong V2 composite while the alloy parts are machined from black anodised 7075 aluminium. New features also include an adjustable front chassis brace, direct or bellcrank steering setup, new rear axle mount with ride height spacers, as well as a rear axle brace that also acts as a dust cover for the ball bearings.

Coming soon from GForce is a 10.5T motor and 90A speed controller combo package for drift cars. The set includes the sensored Raijin 10.5T drift motor and the TS90A speed controller with the motor featuring large venting openings, a 3-piece aluminium motor can and an internal fan to lower the running temperatures. The included TS90A controller is highly adjustable, it sports turbo functions, a large heatsink and it is adjustable using GForce’s own Progbox programming device. The package will become available this month.

Coming from GForce is a tyre remover tool for drift car wheels. Constructed from aluminium the tool allows to easily press out 50mm to 56mm rims of 57mm to 63mm pre-mounted wheel sets to reuse either the rims or the tyres. Do extract the rims the wheels are placed in the lower cup and with the upper stamp the rim is forced out of the tyre without harming any of the parts involved. The press is available in blue or black anodising from end of March.
