HRC Distribution have released first images of the Team Magic E5 RTR Silver Edition 1/10th scale electric monster truck. The vehicle is based off of the standard E5 RTR, released a couple of month ago, but it features a silver pre-painted bodyshell instead of a clear body and black wheels instead of fluorescent orange ones. The Silver Edition becomes available in a brushless or brushed motor version soon.
Xtreme Aerodymamics have expanded their range of pre-cut bodyshells for the Xray RX8 and Infinity cars. Laser-cut for the highest possible precision, the R18, R18 Flat and R18 Evo come ready to be painted and used, making it easier to swap between the different designs without losing precious time.
Blaze Racing from Poland have introduced their all-new Battle Sword 1/10th scale 200mm pan car kit. Based on a black anodised 3mm 7075 aluminium chassis the car features milled-out battery pockets for a low centre of gravity and the ability to run both inline and transversal battery configurations. Up front the kit comes with CRC suspension components and a carbon fibre suspension plate that allows for three different wheelbase settings. The rear end utilises a sliding rear axle mount with large 1/4×1/2 bearings for improved durability and reliability. The 7075 motor mount makes for a secure motor fit and the rear carbon fibre brace offers mounting positions for a 30mm fan. The kit is rounded out by carbon fibre side wings that keep away harm from the rear tyres and rear axle.
Nemo Racing have released first images of their forthcoming A215T 1/8th scale nitro truggy kit. Considered to be “a really big step forward […] over the previous A8T” racers can expect a greatly improved vehicle based off of the successful A215 buggy. The kit is production as we type and expected to be available world wide by about end of November, beginning of December. Detailed information and more images will become available in time for the release.
Kyosho have introduced the MT-4WD Psycho Kruiser VE 1/8th scale ReadySet monster truck. The vehicles is based on a low-profile 4WD 3-differential chassis comparable to the popular Inferno truggy and it is equipped with a 1500kv Team Orion Neon 7 brushless motor and a 6S LiPo-compatible brushless controller. A shock-resistant, hardened battery case protects the LiPo battery while big bore threaded aluminium shock absorbers, aluminium shock towers and front and rear anti-roll bars keep the truck on track despite the extreme power it is able to develop. The included Syncro KT-201 2.4GHz radio system offers a fail-safe function for the unlikely event of signal loss and the included KS-203 steering servo was taken over from the 1/7th scale Scorpion XXL to ensure steering authority when the going gets tough. The ready-to-run truck is rounded out by an aerodynamic bodyshell and grippy tyres on multi-spoke rims.
Team Titan have introduced the new Blitz TS035 1/8th scale nitro on-road bodyshell. Building on the popular TS030 and TS040 the body offers the initial steering response and rear end stability of the TS030 combined with the mid corner and on-power steering of the TS040, making it a third tuning option for the dedicated racer. The body is moulded from high-quality polycarbonate and available in a super-tough 1.0mm variant and also as lightweight 0.8mm and super-lightweight 0.7mm body. All include a window mask, decal sheet and they sport pre-marked bodypost and engine head positions for ARC’s R8.0 car.
LRP have introduced the 2400kv variant of their successful Dynamic 8 brushless motor. Closing the gap between the 2200kv and the 2600kv the 4-pole motor, winner of the Italian championships and runner-up at the 2016 EFRA Euros, offers a balance between power and run time and it features a machined alloy case with heatsink design, a precision-balanced sintered rotor and pre-soldered silver-plated heavy-duty connectors.
Horizon Hobby have introduced the upgraded ECX line of 1/10th 2WD off-road RTR vehicles. The 2WD trucks, equipped with adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers, tough gearboxes with adjustable slipper clutch and gear differential as well as nylon composite chassis and long-travel suspension come with a new Dynamite 1800mAh LiPo battery and 800mA LiPo balance charger. The kits are rounded out by a Spektrum STX FHSS 2.4GHz radio system, 15T brushed motor, water-proof electronics and pre-painted bodyshells. Available are the Circuit stadium, Torment SC and Ruckus monster truck.
Coming from HRC Racing are two new LiPo battery packs. First up is a 5000mAh oval diameter hardcase battery made using 40C cells. Designed for the use in applications that usually require racing pack style NiMH batteries, such as RTR cars and starter boxes, the LiPo variant makes for improved performance and run time. The pack features an external balancer port and it is available with a T-type or standard Tamiya plug. Also new is the high-capacity 10000mAh 11.1V 3S softcase LiPo battery pack for vehicles such as the Traxxas T-Maxx. The battery comes equipped with a TRX plug.
