Protoform have introduced the new BMR-12.1 1/12th scale pan car bodyshell and a set of pre-cut touring car wing endplates. Starting with the body, the BMR-12.1 is based off of the BMR-12 but offers enhanced mid-corner steering for those high-grip tracks. The body also misses the centre fin and a new rear trim line greatly increases rotation. Usable in Modified and Stock classes alike the body also features a front splitter and enhanced dive planes on the front fenders for increased front end rigidity and reduced body rubbing. The BMR-12.1 fits all EFRA/IFMAR, BRCA, ROAR and JMRCA body specs and is offered in both light weight .020″ Lexan for experts and regular weight .030″ for novices.

Sanwa’s intermediate-level MT-S transmitter is soon also available as limited edition Piano Black variant. The radio will feature the same glossy black finish as the respective M12S and MT-4 variants, making it Sanwa’s third transmitter to receive the luxury treatment. In terms of features and specifications the MT-S Piano Black edition will be the same as the standard MT-S and so it allows for a range of telemetry functions, and offers SSR and SSL compatibly. The transmitter will become available by end of February.

Team Magic have introduced the E5 HX 1/10th scale RTR racing monster truck. Based off of the standard E5 the HX variant is available in four different body colours and it features a new LED light system, a powerful Hobbywing brushless system and a genuine Savöx waterproof steering servo. To this add a fully ball-raced drivetrain, a fully adjustable suspension and a 2.4GHz radio system. The truck will become available in March.

Coming from Reds Racing is the new EFRA 2143 off-road exhaust pipe. Designed to improve fuel economy and torque of Reds Racing’s own engines, the pipe, in combination with the S manifold, will increase the runtime by about 30 to 40 seconds, depending on the track and surface grip. This means up to nine minutes of runtime can be achieved with the Reds Racing R7 Evoke and the Quattro 4-shoe clutch. Additionally the torque will be increased by about 5 percent, and a more precise throttle response in the low to mid RPM range can be felt. The pipe is available separately or including the S manifold.

HRC Distribution have introduced the HRC Racing exhaust pipe with smoke generator unit for electric drift cars and monster trucks. Consisting of an LED-equipped exhaust end pipe and a control unit, the system makes for a bit of scale realism for any drift car, monster or short course truck. The LED function and the amount of smoke emitted are controlled via the receiver’s throttle channel and the set includes everything needed, such as smoke fluid, mounting hardware and connection wires.

Capricorn have introduced the new Tesla TS108LP Black Edition high-voltage low-profile servo. Usable with standard 6V but also high-voltage 7.4V input, the servo utilises a coreless motor, a full metal gear train and an all-black lead. It measures 39.8×20.2×28.7mm, weighs in at 55g and is able of pulling up to 14.5kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.07s at 7.4V input.

Following a series of images SWorkz have now officially revealed all details and features of the forthcoming S35-3 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Building on the experience gained with the S350 line of buggies, the S35-3 utilises new nylon material for the A-arms with an optional carbon fibre cover allowing to adjust the stiffness of the front upper A-arms. A redesigned Ackerman steering system and a unique front shock tower design allow fine-tune the suspension geometry while the centre plastic BBD differential system is meant to improve overall traction and acceleration. The simplified radio tray system allows for better and more precise throttle and brake response and the L.F.C. lower friction coefficient chassis was designed to easily take optional 15g to 45g chassis weights. The kit is rounded out by a refined L-BBS shock system, and the Falcon Style 3 bodyshell.

Coming soon from Maxima is the Mx GT1 3.5cc on-road engine for GT racing classes. Based on the O.S. Speed 21ZX-GT the power plant received several modifications to increase the performance, torque and mileage. The long stroke engine features a 5+3 ports design for increased mid to high RPM power, a silicone-filled, DLC-coated and tungsten-balanced GT-spec crankshaft as well as a low centre of gravity cooling head. The engine utilises a ROAR-legal 2-needle carburettor with 7mm insert and it comes factory selected and tuned.
