From the second half of 1944, the M1943 field jacket replaced the M1941, which had been used through most of the early U.S. involvement in WWII; simultaneously, double buckle boots were also introduced. A soldier would typically carry a canteen, ammunition pouch, scope, poncho and more, with the average infantry equipped with a firearm such as the M1 Garand, BAR M1918A2 or a M1A1 sub-machine gun. Officers wielded an M1 carbine. Scout teams would carry a handy talkie radio. This set recreats an infantry scout team of five, which will make a superb project by itself, and can of course be used in a diorama or vignette.

★This is a 1/35 scale figure assembly kit. ★Parts recreate soldiers from the second half of 1944, wearing the M1943 field jacket: a commanding officer with M1 carbine surveys the scene, two standing soldiers have an M1 Garand and BAR respectively, a further soldier kneels with the stock of his M1 on the ground, and one soldier is pictured with the handy talkie. ★Comes with a wide range of crisply molded small arms. ★Decals are included for recreation of various rank insignia.

Developed in response to a February 1937 request from the armed forces for a fighter excelling in speed, firepower and range, the P-38 Lightning would be a wildly successful design that had around 10,000 units produced and spawned numerous US ace pilots. While its design was constantly evolved from its maiden 1939 flight onwards, more powerful engines eventually overtook the P-38's cooling function, and output was limited to 1,250hp at higher altitudes. In August 1943 the answer to this problem appeared: the P-38J, which featured intercoolers moved from the wing leading edges to the underside of the engines. The superior cooling enabled use of its full 1,425hp even at high altitudes, while the newly-available leading edge space was not put to waste, being filled with auxiliary fuel tanks to improve the fighter's range.

This assembly kit creates the Lord Knight, a Mini 4WD racer that depicts the car driven by Grease Mackenzie in the popular new Japanese cartoon "MINI 4 KING." The sleek body design is accented by the mohawk-esque air intake running back from the canopy. Dedicated parts are included in the form of rear hi-mount rollers doubling as side guard stabilizers, front underguard and height rollers, not giving the Lord Knight every chance of making it to the end of the race, but also providing a clear yellow contrast to the blue body. The model is based upon the compact and lightweight VZ chassis, with white dish wheels paired with large diameter slick tires. Metallic stickers are included to decorate the body.

VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. 4.2:1 gears are included.
