Fighting Buggy (2014)

Item No: 47304

※※Please note that this product was formerly released as Item 84389. The specifications remain the same.※※

Back by Popular Demand!
Tamiya is delighted to welcome the Fighting Buggy back to its product line-up with this re-release version of the 1982 R/C buggy classic. It retains the unique suspension and drivetrain setups employed on the original model and pairs them with a newly-designed chassis. The ABS resin body keeps the shape and design theme from its predecessor, accenting it with updated markings. It is equipped with an aluminum roof wing part and side nets for an authentic buggy-esque look.

A Highly Satisfying Off-Road Experience
The original 2mm-thick FRP and duralumin chassis plate is replaced with a new 2.5mm-thick FRP plate, finished in black like the 1.5mm-thick mechanism deck. The model can be powered by the separately sold Tamiya LF Battery LF1100-6.6V Racing Pack (M-Size), which will fit neatly underneath the mechanism deck. Afficionados of the original model will note that the die cast arms remain the same on the 2014 version, while the separate reserve tank is still used on the rear suspension, which otherwise receives a number of new parts. A sealed direct drive gear case also houses the motor and protects it from dust and dirt. Stability is provided by ribbed front tires, and the rear gives excellent grip thanks to tires with tread patterns that extend to the sidewalls. 3-piece wheels are used both front and rear.

De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI

1/32 Aircraft Series No.26

De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI

Item No: 60326

Behold the Wooden Wonder in Stunning 1/32!
Drawn up as a high speed, unarmed bomber, the twin engine De Havilland Mosquito fulfilled that role and so many more for the RAF and other Allied air forces during WWII, taking advantage of performance so astonishing it earned the aircraft its nickname: Wooden Wonder. (That, and the fact it was made largely of wood, in contrast to most of its contemporaries.) The FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber variant, which first appeared in the skies in Spring 1943, packed a punch with four 7.7mm nose-mounted machine guns and four powerful 20mm auto-cannons, plus the ability to carry four 500lb bombs. With around 2,700 produced it was the most prolifically manufactured Mosquito variant, and this high performance, multi-role aircraft was relied on to attack sensitive enemy targets such as SS facilities, V1 flying bomb sites, and munitions factories, taking advantage of its precision low-altitude bombing skills.

About the Model
This is a 1/32 scale plastic model assembly kit. Fuselage length: 394.5mm, wingspan: 515.5mm. ★The graceful, elegant lines of the Mosquito FB Mk.VI are captured with stunning accuracy. ★Rivets are expertly depicted on parts such as engine cowlings and ailerons. ★Flaps and elevators can be assembled in neutral or down positions. ★Choose between standard exhausts or those fitted with flame damper covers, plus standard or tropical filter engine cowling undersides. ★2 different types of propeller blade parts are included. ★Fit wing undersurfaces with 500lb bombs or drop tanks.

German Africa Corps Luftwaffe Artillery Crew Set

Item No: 35343

So Many Options!
★The exploits of Rommel and his Africa Corps are well known to students of WWII; this set of highly realistic figures and accessories recreates Luftwaffe personnel assigned to the Africa Corps. ★The 8 figures are in a variety of authentic poses, including an officer barking out orders, non-commissioned officer in shorts, soldiers with shells and a rangefinder, and much more! ★Includes parts to recreate explosive and armor piercing shells, as well as empty rounds, plus shell rack, rangefinder, shovel, hammer and so on. ★Use with any of Tamiya's wide range of 1/35 scale Africa Corps subjects to really add punch to your diorama/model.

About Luftwaffe units in the Africa Corps
Rommel's Africa Corps included a number of Luftwaffe anti-aircraft units, equipped with 88mm guns used not only in ground-to-air situations but also in engagements with enemy armor such as Matildas and M3 Grants. The units' teamwork was a constant boon for the Africa Corps, whether the enemy was airborne or a land vehicle.

About the Uniform
Both Army and Luftwaffe troops in North Africa received tropical uniform. The Luftwaffe version had a large pocket over the left knee, and other small differences. The sand-colored cloth was lighter than the Army equivalent, but faded rapidly in the sweltering heat, leading to many different shades.

Masterwork Collection No.149

1/12 Honda RS1000 '81 No.2 (Finished Model)

Item No: 21149

Honda RS1000 Endurance Racer
From their endurance racing debut in 1976 until 1980 Honda received excellent service from the dominant RCB1000, but in 1980 it was decided to switch to the RS1000. As a base, it used the CB900F. The RS1000 utilized an air-cooled 4-stroke DOHC 4-cylinder powerplant that in its 999cc 1981 spec offered 130hp. In 1980 the bike showed what it was made of, taking a glorious championship, and while it failed to repeat in 1981 it demonstrated there was still plenty of gas in the tank by taking the 8 Hour race in Suzuka, Japan, and coming in second in the overall rankings on the season.

About the Model
★1/12 scale finished plastic display model of the No.2 1981 Honda RS1000, with full cowling. ★Length: 180mm, width: 44mm, height: 115mm. ★This finished model has improvements over the assembly kit, such as cowl screen, mesh pipe to depict braided hose, additional breather pipe and front brake cabling, bands bundling cables, fuel tank shape alterations and new headlight position. The result is a highly accurate depiction of the bike. ★Marvel at the detailed paint job on the engine, plus fine work on the drive sprockets and chains, as well as gradation on the exhaust pipes. ★Metallic stickers are used for a realistic finish on the front fork. ★A racing stand is included.

Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI

No Competition!
The Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI etched its name in racing history with a glorious championship win in the 1993 German Touring Car Championship (DTM) season. The car was based upon the Italian manufacturer's 155GTA - of course, with numerous body and mechanical modifications. The front of the car employed a pipe frame work and was mounted with a force to be reckoned with in the shape of the 420hp, 2.5-liter V6. A center diff utilized a planetary gear system with viscuous coupling as part of the full time 4WD system. Four 155 V6 TI cars appeared in the DTM that year, with the two works team vehicles piloted by N. Larini and A. Nannini proving too much for the rest of the hapless field, taking 13 wins from 22 races. 11 of those belonged to Larini, who duly became that season's Drivers' Champion.
