Infinity IF11-2 1:10 Formula chassis

Creation Model has released their new 1:10 Formula chassis,  the Infinity IF11-2.  The car latest IF11 has been reborn as a wide-tread and foam tire-compatible model.  The hybrid monocoque chassis which is the identity of the Japanese manufacturers competition Formula car, has been retained.  New features of the IF11-2 are the rear wing mount is integrated with the rear diffuser, reproduced for the first time ever in an Infinity kit using 3D printed nylon resin molded parts.  One of the symbolic parts of the IF11-2, it is based on the IF11’s concept of combining scale and performance at a high dimension.  Most of the carbon plate parts and the rear bulkhead have also been redesigned. Stable rear grip and traction.  The new design provides sufficient steering response and high cornering speeds.  The IF11-2 was developed with a focus on achieving a high dimensional balance of these elements.  The front wheel is suitable for large-diameter wheels with an inner diameter of 40 mm or larger.  Smaller diameter wheels (36mm inner diameter) can be accommodated with optional parts.

Mugen Seiki MSB1 1:10 2WD Buggy

Having been given a first look at their first foray into the 1:10 2WD Buggy class at the IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championship in Arizona last September, Mugen Seiki has now officially released its MSB1 kit.  This is a hugely significant launch for the Japanese manufacturer who despite its small size is a major force in the 1:8 Buggy competition market.  A brand that punches well above its weight given the actually size of the company, the MSB1 has the potential to bring them a whole new customer base and as well as open up an all year round season due to the popularity of indoor 1:10 offroad racing.  Designed by Shin Adacahi, the MSB1 was conceived from years of testing and development.  It is designed to be used for multi-purpose purposes on dirt, carpet and astro road surfaces.  The slim aluminium chassis provide exceptional precision and stability when jumping and cornering with the kit including front and rear stabiliser, highly adjustable gear differential and 13mm shocks.  The design of the rear suspension is unique and adjustable than other vehicles in this class.  The height of the deferential is adjustable, giving you quick and easy access to the deferential.  MSB1 kit also includes cab forward body shell, front wing and rear wing.

Reds Racing 721 Superveloce Pro Gen4

New from reigning European 1:8 Buggy Champion engine brand Reds Racing is the 721 Superveloce Pro Gen4.  It comes with a redesigned cooling head which boasts the advantages of a lower centre of gravity for enhanced car handling, improved aerodynamics for reduced drag, and superior engine cooling. Furthermore, the new bicolor cooling head features a unique design. The new engine also comes with a new High protection Double seal front bearing for increased durability and idle stability.  Other main Features of the Superveloce engine is that it boasts an Extra Tuned Sleeve by Mario Rossi.  This special modification to the sleeve by Mario Rossi significantly increases engine power and ensures good fuel mileage simultaneously.  The 3-needle carburetor allows superior and easier tuning in all conditions, ensuring more linear power delivery and greater overall power.  All carburetors come with a special sealing ring to enhance sealing and tuning stability.  Fitted with REDS 9 balls rear ceramic bearing for increased durability and reliability, the engine comes in two distinct backplate versions: AirBoost or Rotary RTX.  Additionally, it is offered either as a standalone unit or as part of a combo package with the 2113 X-One pipe. This engine is ideal for tracks where a more powerful engine provides a competitive advantage.

ARC R8.4LCG

ARC has released its latest 1:8 Onroad Nitro kit, the R8.4LCG.  Based on their R8.4 with low centre gravity chassis design, the front and rear upper arm base are all new parts, lower arms and steering block become hard composite parts to increase overall traction and corner speed.  The new LCG chassis R842026 becomes standard parts on the R8.4LCG, with the R822025 LCG engine mount the engine height becomes 2mm lower compared with R8.4, the LCG chassis not only lower engine mount but also increases flexibility in the rear end of the chassis, it helps to increase the steering of the car.  Also new in the kit are the front steering block and lower arms which are all produced in Hard compound.  As well as being harder the arms are also lighter than standard arms, and the harder arms give more ground traction and consistent handling in all conditions, The R8.4LCG corner speed is improved a lot with these hard compound suspension parts.  The front upper arm holder of R8.4LCG is 1.2mm higher compared with R8.4, it changes the roll centre in the front end and makes the car have quicker response handling and less exit steering, it can avoid over steering especially when applying throttle.  Finally, the rear upper arm plate also becomes a new one, the horizontal plate has 3 positions to adjust, more inside gives more rear traction and more stable handling, and more outside position will give a quicker response to follow the front end.

New from Italian engine manufacturer Nova Engines is the R9R Outlaw .24 Onroad engine which has been developed and released with purpose to give racers a powerful and easy to run Onroad engine.  As Andrea Rossi explains, which is a widely a common concern expressed by all the engine manufacturers and was a big discuss at the Wiorlds in Japan, today’s 1:8 category is suffering as costs, tuning problems and engines reliability make this category more and more difficult.  Nova Engines believe that using a different engine which provide better power, reliability and fuel mileage will allow club racers and hobby people to better enjoy their passion.  They are also want to put the attention of Federations on this option and open a discussion to implement the rules to better fit customers needs.

Sparko F8e 1:8 Competition Buggy

Taiwanese buggy brand Sparko has released its new F8e competition-level 1:8 Electric Buggy which they claim has the world’s first battery mount design that provides the most configurations for a 1:8 vehicle in the industry.  It can use batteries of different sizes to meet the power and time requirements for all racers around the world.  In addition, the battery mount is designed in an eccentric mode.  With multiple battery positions, balance response needs for all drivers and track conditions will be met. With the Multi-configuration battery mount system you can achieve eccentric arrangements from 2s to 4s. From forward to back, to inside and outside, pure balance of the car can be achieved for optimal response.  The buggy also features an Anti-flex aluminium motor mount system, the rigid system eliminating unwanted flex allowing the motor to operate accurately and efficiently.  Result, smooth and reliable drivetrain. It gets a double rear brace design.  While the kit is equipped with one rear brace, you can use two for more balance of the left and right torsion of the chassis.  This can provide more consistent drive while cornering and accelerating with the official optional braces to be released soon.  Another feature is the built-in versatile aluminium fan mount.

Capricorn LAB GT2 GP 2024 1:8 GT – Images

After presenting images of the latest version of its European Championship winning 1:8 eGT chassis the LAB GT2 EP 2024 yesterday, Capricorn have now released pictures of the new 2024 version of their Nitro GT chassis.  The Italian manufacturer will be hoping the car will put them in contention for a title double at this year’s EFRA European Championships at the Naxos World Track in Italy at the start of June as they look to add a Nitro 1:8 GT title to their 1:8 and 1:10 Onroad European victories after becoming inaugural 1:8 eGT Champions in Croatia last year.

Italian onroad chassis manufacturer Capricorn is set to release its 2024 kit line-up for 1:8 GT competition the first of which is Patrizio Rossi’s latest creation for the electric category, the LAB GT2 EP 2024.  With 1:8 GT racing receiving a massive profile boost following the very successful and competitive 1:8 GT World Championship in Sydney, Australia, in October, the pace of development in the class in recent years has been huge.  Full technical details and specs of the LAB GT2 EP 2024, along with the nitro chassis, will be outlined shortly in a video presented by Capricorn team driver team and reigning GTe European Champion Alessio Mazzeo.

FlySky Noble NB4+ Transmitter – Images

While they have been busy making headlines with announcing some of the best drivers in the sport will race using their radios in 2024, in the background FlySky has also been busy with developing its next generation of transmitters such as the new upcoming Noble NB4+.  Set for official release on February 22nd, they have not yet released full specs for the new mid range radio but visually we know the radio gets a new brighter LCD screen and a more race inspired steering wheel as well as a higher capacity battery.  We will bring you full specs as soon as they are officially released by the Chinese manufacturer but in the meantime we can share a selection of images of the new radio.
